Private lessons are 1-on-1 sessions with the owner, trainer, and the dog. It is important with all training that the owner is involved. During private lessons the trainer will be teaching the owner how to train their dog. The trainer teaches the skills and give the tools to create new behaviors and it is the owners requirement to put in the repetitions.
During private training lessons, we focus on obedience basics and creating structure for your dog in and outside your home. Leash skills are one of the first things we fix so you and your dog can move forward together as a team.

Stable Canine’s immersion program builds a strong foundation rooted in clear, consistent communication. Your dog begins by learning essential leash skills and developing a calm, focused state of mind. From there, they build duration and reliability in core obedience behaviors such as sit, down, place, and a recall. Once these skills are solid and properly proofed, your dog is introduced to the e-collar system, allowing for clearer communication and greater freedom for both you and your dog.
Each day at Stable Canine is tailored to the individual dog and their current stage in the program. We address mild behavioral challenges, teach effective communication through leash and e-collar, and establish a reliable obedience foundation. Your dog’s schedule is structured to promote stability, confidence, and thoughtful decision-making. Training includes real-life experiences in the home and public settings, around both people and dogs. Throughout their stay, your dog will participate in walks, park visits, and field trips to strengthen behaviors in real-world environments. During training sessions, they will refine loose-leash walking and recall, even in stimulating situations.
Throughout the immersion program you will be updated with photos/ videos to watch to keep you engaged and learning with your dog throughout the process. All immersion program dog owners are required to participate in lessons to transfer tools and to learn how to command your dog. The trainer will teach you when to guide, correct, and reward your dog all at the right times for continued success.

We will work with your dog through games and exercises to create engagement and motivation to work for their meals. You dog will learn marker words, lured obedience behaviors, intro to place, and socialize with dogs.
Your dog will return when they are 6 months old to complete our standard 4 week immersion board and train program. During this stay they will learn the foundation to the ecollar, leash communication skills including a loose leash walk, solid duration in positions, recall, in home and public manners with humans and dogs.

Stable Canine's Refresher program is for past board and train clients. About 4-6 months out of a board and train program is a great time for a refresher. This week long stay touches up on skills for both the dog and the owner. It is a great reminder of our system and how to continue to hold your dog accountable.
Any behavioral concerns may fluctuate price and duration.

When you're heading out of town for a trip your dog will have access to boarding with Stable Canine. Boarding is for dogs that have already completed an immersion program with Stable Canine. During boarding stays we hold your dog accountable to their training while you are away provided you have maintained their new skills. Boarding includes structure, exercise, and relaxing time.
